As I mentioned in my November Goals blog post, I have a story that’s part of a project that’s running a Kickstarter campaign during the month of November.
Habitats is a new magazine dedicated to highlighting optimistic science fiction. The project is looking to raise $23,000 US to fund the production of the first volume. You can read more about the campaign here, including a breakdown of what costs the funds will cover, but I’ll go into some of the highlights below.
The Authors
The authors include:
- Scott Ford,
- Emily Smith,
- Cameron Thomson,
- W. Ward,
- Sherry Yuan, and
- yours truly.
The Artists
The artists include:
- Mateusz Urbanowicz,
- Marc Aspinall,
- Sabrina Weeks,
- Calcium,
- Rob Turpin,
- Pyo Ki-sik, and
- others to be announced.
The Rewards
Some of the rewards featured in this campaign are digital and print copies of the magazine, t-shirts, bookmarks, and the opportunity to have your name listed in the credits.
I’m very excited to be part of this project and hope that it can reach its funding goals.
